Google conducted experiments to understand how Bing is using their search results. This post includes screenshots of search result pages from both, displaying the similarities. Google claims that Bing results are a cheap imitation of their own.

WHAT’S NEW THIS WEEK WITH YAHOO!:
Quirky Queries: Zorilla, Trenta and Jennifer Lopez on Yahoo! Search
This post includes a summary of some of the strangest search queries from the past month. Odd searches included “zorilla”; the most foul-smelling animal on the planet, Starbucks’ giant sized “Trenta”, and the age of American Idol star Jennifer Lopez.

WHAT’S NEW THIS WEEK WITH BING:
Setting the record straight
In response to Google, Bing states that they do not copy results from competitors and claim that it is insulting that Google says that they have. According to Bing, Google’s experiment was rigged through “click fraud” since Bing uses click stream data as a part of their algorithm.
